Momail is a free mobile application that lets you read and answer your emails from your mobile conveniently and cheaply. The company has so far received an undisclosed convertible loan from private investors. I met up with Momail’s founder & CEO, Roger Grönberg, and Honour Pearson, the company’s business developer, in a cafe in Stockholm’s Östermalmstorg district to learn more about how the product is set up, its main value proposition, and the company’s future direction as a carrier of mobile content. Interview with Jerome Touze, Founder & CEO of WAYN

WAYN (Where Are you Now) is a web social network that lets people connect based on where they’ve been, where they are now, and where they’re going to be in the future. The company has received $11M in series A funding in November, 2006. It has about 8.5 million users so far and is growing at a rate of 15 to 20 thousand users per day. I caught WAYN’s founder and CEO Jerome Touze while he was visiting his company’s development center in Poland. We talked about how location can play a central role in online communities. Moko - Mobile Community with 100 Million Page Views Per Month

Moko is a mobile web application that allows users to create profiles, meet new people, chat and share multimedia content. Loop Mobile, the company behind Moko, is based in Sydney, Australia and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in June, 2007. NearbyNow: Location-Based Shopping

NearbyNow allows shoppers to find products that are sold at their local stores. So far the company has received two rounds of funding worth 2.5M & 5.5M US$ both led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Interview With Socialight CEO, Dan Melinger

Socialight lets you use your cellphone or computer to post virtual sticky notes in a specific location. The sticky note can be a random thought or a well-written recommendation and can hold the form of a written text or a photo (video & audio are coming soon).
